NHS Kit Charity Auction
This is your chance to get your hands on a piece of history, whilst at the same time helping raise funds for NHS charities.
Last Saturday, Exeter Rugby Club dedicated their Round Four fixture with Worcester Warriors in the Gallagher Premiership to that of the NHS, honouring all of those healthcare heroes who have worked - and continue to work - above and beyond during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Across the world, all of our lives have been changed forever, but throughout it all NHS staff up and down the length of the country have continued to deliver day in, day out, providing 24/7 care across the board.
Here at the Chiefs we wanted to show our appreciation to those who work in the NHS and as part of last weekend’s match-day at Sandy Park, we carried out a number of initiatives to help raise funds.
These included the sale of one-off Exeter Chiefs NHS pin badges, as well as the auctioning off of the NHS designed playing kit, worn by the Chiefs players during the Worcester game.
The design of the kit was inspired through our #lookgoodchiefs competition, which we ran in April 2020, where we asked fans of all ages to design their very own Exeter Chiefs playing kit. After hundreds of entries, it was Richard Bolt’s rainbow-inspired kit that was selected as our overall winner.
Now, rugby supporters will be able to place bids on signed versions of every match jersey worn by the players, whilst there are also three unnumbered jerseys which have been signed by all of the match-day 23.
The auction starts on Friday, October 15th at 9am and will run until 8pm on Sunday, October 24.
