New Mini Bus for the Exeter Sea Cadets
Exeter Sea Cadets receive funding for a New Unit Mini Bus
The Exeter Sea Cadets are embarking on a new era of possibilities having received the funding for a Minibus from the Exeter Chiefs Foundation. As a cherished pillar of youth development, the Sea Cadets are set to harness this invaluable asset to overcome transportation challenges and amplify their community impact.
Offering weekly sessions to all young people aged between 10 and 18 years of age from all ethnicities and religious backgrounds, the Exeter Sea Cadets bring together young people from all walks of life.
The Exeter Chiefs Foundation's contribution of the new Minibus couldn't have come at a more opportune time. Recognising the hurdles the Sea Cadets faced in transporting cadets to training courses and events across Devon, the minibus emerges as a game-changer.
With the capability to accommodate a larger number of cadets, the Unit Minibus will revolutionize the Sea Cadets' approach to training and events. This, in turn, will magnify their ability to participate in local events.
Exeter Chiefs Foundation Trustee Marc Astley conveyed his excitement about the possibilities that the Minibus offers.
"This minibus opens up a world of opportunities for the Exeter Sea Cadets. It aligns perfectly with their commitment to inclusivity and community engagement. The Foundation are proud to be able to support such a wonderful local charityā€¯.
