Fantastic entertainment at Somme Centenary Dinner
A programme of excellent entertainment has been confirmed for the forthcoming Somme Centenary Dinner, an evening in aid of the 19240 Shrouds of the Somme Project taking place at Exeter’s Sandy Park on April 16th.
The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines CTCRM will begin the event by performing the renowned 'Beating Retreat', then continue to entertain throughout the evening, with music during dinner, a drumming display and music for dancing following the three-course meal.
The evening will also include an auction with celebrity auctioneer Paul Martin, star of BBC’s Flog It!, who will be selling a range of fantastic items to help raise money for the 19240 Shrouds of the Somme.
There will also be an educational element to the dinner, with a talk from ex-Welsh Guardsman Rob Gallimore on the Battle of the Somme.
A table of 10 is priced at £550 or individual tickets cost £60. For more information or to book tickets, please contact enquiries@exeterfoundation.org.uk
