Fairytale Mufti Day Raises Money for Foundation
South West Communications Group has raised £190 for the Exeter Foundation with a fairytale mufti day.
Staff were invited to swap their uniforms for their home clothes in lieu of a donation to the Foundation or to don fancy dress with ‘Fairytales’ as the theme of the day.
Employees that opted for the fancy dress option were shortlisted to a final five with a ground floor and first floor winner receiving four Grandstand tickets to watch Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park.
Snow White Sarah Dougan won the first floor prize and The Mad Hatter Vicky Gates was victorious for the ground floor.
The remaining three, princess Sam Matthews and pirates Sam Kinver-Wrigley and Rick Howard, also received two Exeter Chiefs tickets each.
South West Communications Group’s managing director Harry Langley said: “This was a fun and easy way to bring in a little bit of extra money for a good cause. The fairytale theme was imaginatively embraced with a few villains turning up in their Leicester Tigers shirts!”
The Exeter-based voice, connectivity and data centre services provider is a member of the Foundation XV and is committed to raising at least £1,500 for the Exeter Foundation this year.
