Exeter Business Games donate over £10,000
Participants of the 2014 Exeter Business Games have handed over more than £10,000 to the Exeter Foundation.
28 Exeter-based businesses took part in the games and an initial £3,985.53 was raised between the teams. Another £6,588.85 was generously added by Thomson Reuters, who match funded the total raised for the fourth consecutive year, bringing the total to £10,574.38.
Run by marketing agency Big Wave Media, the Exeter Business Games takes place during May and June each year. The Games comprise eight events including a pub quiz and tag rugby; promoting networking and employee participation, while raising funds for the Exeter Foundation.
Since beginning to work with the Exeter Foundation in 2011, the Exeter Business Games have donated over £30,000 and the 2014 total represents the highest yet.
