End of Season Awards Night 2022

7/6/22
Overseas stars Jannes Kirsten and Kate Zackary led the way at the Exeter Chiefs End of Season Awards night held at a packed Sandy Park.
South African Kirsten was crowned the Men's Players' Player of the Year, whilst USA international Zackary picked up the Women's award.
They were just two of the awards handed out at the glitzy annual event, which celebrated the 2021/22 season for the Devon club.
Club chairman and Chief Executive, Tony Rowe OBE, welcomed guests to the dinner, before there were presentations from Director of Rugby, Rob Baxter, and Women's head coach, Susie Appleby.
Helping to oversee the night were Exeter's British & Irish Lions duo, Jack Nowell and Stuart Hogg, whose efforts with the silent auction, auction, raffle and in-room game helped to raise just shy of £25,000 for the club's official charity, the Exeter Chiefs Foundation.
An additional £2,200 was also raised for UNICEF'S Ukrainian Appeal from a signed Ukraine Rugby shirt, which had been signed by the Exeter Chiefs first team squad.
Helping to round off the night's entertainment was a Q&A with Chiefs stars Don Armand, James Kenny, Nichola Fryday and Poppy Leitch, before music from the band Reckless.
