2019/20 Designated Charities Confirmed
20 charities will benefit from Exeter Chiefs match-day fundraising during the 2019/20 rugby season.
The charities are selected each season by the Exeter Chiefs Foundation and each will collect funds at a match-day over the course of the season.
Set up eight years ago by the Exeter Chiefs and a selected group of local businessmen to help promote the local community and the vision of people working within it, the Exeter Chiefs Foundation has raised over £1 million since its inception.
The Exeter Chiefs Foundation has helped to directly fund nearly 100 charities and organisations, including the designated charities each year and several other projects and schemes.
Exeter Chiefs Foundation Chairman, Tony Rowe OBE, said: “Every year we are seeing the Foundation grow in stature. We are extremely proud of the impact the funds raised have made to the various projects and organisations we have aided.
“We know from speaking to all the charities involved that the funds we raise really do make a difference in so many ways."
